Where to Find a Book or Journal

Use information from its MICAL record to find a book or journal.

Status
The status line will tell you whether a book is checked out, lost, or has recently been ordered. Journals cannot be checked out.

Location
Check here to find out which of the MC libraries (Speed or Law Library) has the book or journal.

Call Number
Write down the call number. It acts as the "address" of an item in the library. To find out which floor to go to in Speed Library, you can ask at the Reference or Circulation desk.  

• Reference books are found on the Main floor of the library
• Periodicals are located on the 2nd floor
• Library general book collection is located on the Basement floor
